Faith based sharing has been a lifeline to me.

Retired intensive case manager, (Allegany county, Community Services)
2010-2016 for kids ages 5-18. Preschool teacher, St. Ann’s Hornell 2002 to 2008. Lost husband, Charlie 6-21-21 from cancer. Found hope and validation from attending GriefShare. Feel that children and young people will find comfort in a group that supports them and stands by them in their loss.

Reading help is available for adults and children who struggle to read well or have dyslexia.

We use the Barton Reading System, and Orton – Gillingham based program that wasn’t available when most adults were in school.

We also need volunteers to teach this program and are ready to commit to learning the program. We will train you. Volunteers need to be willing to teach at least two days a week (2 one-hour sessions) as well as prep time. You’ll find this is a rewarding experience.
